ABOUT US
Joseph M. Patterson and his wife Doris first lived in Ocean City and owned the Sip & Snack luncheonette where they served milkshakes, hoagies and other lunch items. Joe and Doris moved to Greenfield and purchased the building that is now Frog Hollow Bakery, which was originally a home built sometime around 1915 and converted into a storefront. They began making our classic donuts in 1971. Doris named the business Frog Hollow due to the chorus of spring peepers that would emerge every spring in the area surrounding the bakery.

Joe and Doris' son Joseph R. Patterson and his wife Deborah took over the bakery in 2000 - we still sell the original classics (plain, sugar, cinnamon & sugar and powdered sugar) but have added a few more baked goods to the menu. Their daughters come back to South Jersey every summer to help run the family business.

Our annual fundraiser Donuts for Dogs is also an adoption event in collaboration with
Beacon Animal Rescue of Upper Township.
